yes that is medical malpractice…. they are not, i repeat ARE NOT allowed to discharge you from their care for atleast 2 weeks after YOU say that you dont want their care anymore… they can only boot ya when you are being abusive… and from the sound of it, you are just doing what is best for you and your unborn child…
i would hire an attorney and see what they think about it… as a woman, i am very sorry that you have to have to go through this… as a friend, i would say sue the b****es for everything they’ve got!!!!

After reading your question I have full sympathy for you.Before going to the
lawyer go to the another doctor for your further checkup.Health needs attention. If your are fit then you r able to fight against them. Its natural about your behaviour.not to worry about that.You have full rights to know each and every thing.

I suggest visitng another doctor, it sounds like a pretty traumatic time you're going through. And your OBGYN doesn't sound particularly friendly, helpful or comforting. With any doctor they need this, but an OBGYN more than others. So yes another doctor would be best.
